“Real” Estate Planning

Some estate plans call for changing the ownership of real estate, specifically “retitling” the property. As part of our estate planning services, we can prepare and record the necessary documents to make sure that your house or condominium unit are properly titled to make your estate plan flow smoothly. In addition, we can prepare and record Declarations of Homestead for your primary residence, whether held in your own name, or in trust.

Condominium Conversions

Whether they are landlords looking to cash out and get the most out of a sale, or two couples who bought a property together years ago and now their respective goals have changed, many owners of two- and three-family houses in the greater Boston area convert their house into individually owned condominium units. We work with our clients to prepare thoughtful and appropriate condominium documents for this particular situation, as well as coordinate the entire legal process from concept to recording.
